Dark wet adventures

Now why would anyone in their right mind want to spend hours underground in the cold, wet and dark? However, lots of people visit Waitomo caves to admire the glowworms and experience darkwater rafting.

I FOUND myself in pitch black surroundings, soaking wet and freezing. To top it all, I was standing at the edge of a raging underground waterfall, gingerly peering over the edge at the seemingly bottomless dark abyss below.
