Tate and Minecraft create virtual worlds inspired by art

Britain's Tate has launched a series of maps of virtual 3D worlds with Minecraft, combining art, history and gaming. 

The Tate Worlds videogames are based on paintings and sculptures in the Tate Collection. Players can explore and undertake activities and challenges that relate to the themes of the art work, or explore how they were made.
