TIKTOK, a leading destination for short-form mobile videos, has concluded the Malaysian edition of the TikTok LIVE Fest 2024.
This annual celebration highlights top regional creators who captivate audiences and redefine livestreaming.
Now, the platform has unveiled Malaysia’s top three outstanding creators who will represent the nation in the Global LIVE Fest Tournament this month.
Meet Malaysia’s champions

From salesperson to live streaming sensation, Yu Wei combined her passion for singing with the courage to embrace the camera. Inspired by individuals who turned TikTok into a means to sustain their livelihoods, she gathered the confidence to hit the “Go Live” button – and the rest is history.
Guided by her collaboration with W Talent Agency, she built an online family of supporters she lovingly calls “Ferns” or “Fermily”, which ultimately led her to be crowned as champion of TikTok LIVE Fest Malaysia.
Yu’s journey on the platform exemplifies how creativity and resilience can light the way forward.
“You must shine brightly in what you love and remember that even when the sun sets, the lights will shine through the night. The world will never lose its beauty. Do not fear the darkness, for it is always followed by the light of a new dawn,” said Yu.
Despite losing her vocal abilities, Peh found a new outlet for her passion on TikTok LIVE.

Former stage performer Peh Qin Rou faced a life-changing challenge when she lost her vocal abilities – limiting her career options and potential gig opportunities. Refusing to give up, she turned to TikTok LIVE as a new outlet for her passion.
With perseverance and support from W Talent Agency on the platform, she claimed the runner-up spot in her TikTok LIVE debut, proving that passion and determination know no bounds.
“As long as passion remains, success is inevitable,” said Peh.
Heng left her banking career to pursue a dream of spreading joy through live streaming.

Three years ago, Adelyn Heng left her banking career to pursue a dream of spreading joy through live streaming. Through TikTok LIVE, she created the “Peach Family”, a supportive community that fuelled her journey.

By leveraging interactive features, engaging audiences in real-time and delivering unique content, they built loyal communities that supported their rise to the top of the national leaderboard.
Having triumphed at the national level, Yu, Pei and Heng will represent Malaysia against top talents from over 90 countries in the Global LIVE Fest Tournament which begins on Dec 17 and culminates in London on Jan 16, 2025.

TikTok LIVE Fest 2024
TikTok LIVE Fest was conceptualised to encourage more creators to go LIVE on TikTok, offering greater opportunities for them to monetise their passion while showcasing the diverse range of creators and content available on the platform.
The platform also seeks to foster deeper engagement by highlighting the value of gifting in LIVE streams, encouraging users to support and appreciate their favourite creators through the gifting feature.
To commemorate the incredible journey of the many creators on TikTok LIVE Fest 2024, the platform is hosting a special awards night on Dec 20, themed TikTok Verse. This event will celebrate local creators with an array of performances, activities and special guest star appearances.
