MALAYSIANS are very proud of our country – from our local dishes to islands. Unfortunately, not everything we love will stand the test of time. Our future generation may not be able to enjoy Langkawi as we do now, there could be new variations to the original nasi lemak we love so much. Even the animals we know today might be extinct in the near future.
OPPO would like to invite you to capture the one thing you would like to preserve until 2121. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words. What better way to capture these moments than with the OPPO Find X3 Pro - the world’s only smartphone that both captures and displays 1 billion colors. It has an end-to-end 10-bit color system, from its camera system, to its processing and storage, to its display.
Open to both OPPO users and non-OPPO users, the OPPO 2121 Malaysia Future Photography contest invites you to capture the one thing in Malaysia that you wish you could preserve until 2121. It could be anything – your favorite place, food, plants or even your favorite people!
From May 25 to June 25, participants can choose to shoot their subject from any of the three categories – nature, cities/landscape and humanity (portrait/culture). Once you’re done, all you have to do is upload your masterpiece to Instagram alongside #DearFuture2121 #MalaysiaFuture2121. If it’s shot using an OPPO smartphone, you can also include #ShotonOPPO.
Weekly winners will be chosen to stand a chance to win the OPPO Enco Buds, and be shortlisted for the grand prize in the Ultimate Round where they will stand a chance to win amazing prizes!
Mechanics
Step 1: Choose a theme category that interests you (See table below). Participants are encouraged to participate in more than one category.
Step 2: Take an original photo that best fits the theme picked.
Step 3: Post the photo on Instagram (feed) with four hashtags:
i. #DearFuture2121
ii. #MalaysiaFuture2121
iii. #TheStarxOPPO
iv. Hashtag of your chosen theme category (See table below)
Step 4: Tag @oppomalaysia. Ensure that your Instagram profile is set to ‘Public’ so that submissions can be tracked.
*If you are an OPPO user, add hashtag #shotonOPPO and ensure that the OPPO watermark function (if it is available) in your Camera Settings is enabled before taking any photos.
