New data-driven framework to identify and monitor swimmers


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Aquatics are aiming to eliminate guesswork and bias from their high-performance programmes with the launch of a new, scientifically structured performance benchmarking system.

The national body yesterday announced the implementation of the Malaysia On Track (MOT) and Malaysia Age Points (MAP) systems, marking the first time it has adopted a data-driven framework to identify and monitor swimmers.
