SRAM boss Gerard says only one man, one woman for Olympics

PETALING JAYA: It will be a humble beginning for squash in the Olympic Games as they will have the smallest number of athletes among the 36 sports contested at the Los Angeles edition in 2028.

This is due to the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) decision to only confirm a 16-player field for the respective men and women categories in the official list of events instead of the usual 32 many had expected.
