Sivasangari marks 200th PSA win with Windy City quarter-final berth

PETALING JAYA: National squash player S. Sivasangari notched her 200th win on the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour in style by booking her spot in the Windy City Open quarter-finals.

World No. 6 Sivasangari was in her element as she took 36 minutes to beat world No. 25 Egyptian Kenzy Ayman 11-5, 11-4, 10-12, 11-6 in the second round at the University Club of Chicago on Friday (Feb 6). 

Sixth seed Sivasangari will face third seed Nour El Sherbini of Egypt in the quarter-finals on Sunday (Feb 8).

The Egyptian is the favourite having beaten the Malaysian three times in four meetings.
