Squash: Rachel storms into Optasia quarter-finals


PETALING JAYA: National squash player Rachel Arnold powered into the quarter-finals of the Optasia Championships in Wimbledon after defeating home favourite Jasmine Hutton on Wednesday (March 25).

In the second-round match at The Wimbledon Club in London, seventh seed Rachel had little trouble overcoming Hutton 11-9, 11-8, 12-10 in 35 minutes.

A tough task awaits Rachel in the quarter-finals as she is set to face defending champion and world No. 1 Hania El Hammamy for a place in the semi-finals.
