Eain Yow downs top seed Youssef to win Ace Malaysia Cup

PETALING JAYA: National men's squash player Ng Eain Yow gave Malaysians fans a reason to cheer as he clinched the Ace Malaysia Cup after taking down top seed Youssef Soliman of Egypt.

The world No. 14 Eain Yow took 50 minutes to take down No. 11 Youssef 11-7, 11-7, 11-7 in straight sets in the final at The Curve Mall on Sunday (Nov 17).

Eain Yow, spurred on by local support, defied the odds as he had lost his two previous encounters with Youssef.

This was Eain Yow's second World Tour title after taking the German Open in April.
