Amir eyes Sukma squash gold to stay in NSC support programme


PETALING JAYA: A lot is at stake for squash player Amir Amirul Azhar in his last Malaysia Games (Sukma) outing in Sarawak from Aug 17-24.

Winning the men’s individual gold will be the key for Amir to continue receiving support from the National Sports Council’s (NSC) development programme but he will face formidable foes in C. Ameeshenraj of Negri Sembilan and Joachim Chuah of Federal Territories.
