Semis run a nice surprise for Pei Yao after comeback from injury


NATIONAL modern pentathlete Lim Pei Yao’s (pic) Asian Games journey in Japan may have ended in the semi-finals on Thursday, but her return to competition is already a victory.

The 16-year-old finished 27th in the obstacle race, 13th in swimming, 15th in the laser run, and 13th in the fencing direct elimination round at Anjo Sports Park.
