PETALING JAYA: SEA Games-bound Mohd Syafiq Puteh capped a creditable international debut when he partnered Loh Zhiayi to finish fourth in the 3m springboard synchro mixed event at the Canadian Diving Grand Prix in Gatineau, Ottawa.
Syafiq-Zhiayi, competing for the first time in the mixed event, amassed 279.84 points to just missed out on the podium.
