Divers focus on local meet after World Cup Mexico leg cancellation


KUALA LUMPUR: The national divers will now turn their attention to the local meets with no international competitions in sight for the next three months.

Pandelela Rinong (pic) and five other Malaysians were scheduled to compete in the World Cup leg in Zapopan, Mexico, last week but the meet was cancelled due to a surge of violence following the military’s killing of drug lord Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes recently.
