PETALING JAYA: Glasgow debutant Lau New Joe was discharged from hospital after suffering facial injuries following a high speed crash in the Commonwealth Games track cycling competition.

The Malaysian rider was taken away from the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome on a stretcher after falling flat on his face and losing consciousness briefly.
