PETALING JAYA: There was no second medal for track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang (pic) but the sold out crowd at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome still gave him a warm applause in recognition of what he has achieved for the sport.

Newly crowned keirin champion Azizul, pedalling for the last time on the Commonwealth Games stage, posted 1:01.357s to eventually finish 10th in the men’s 1km time trial final.
