PETALING JAYA: There was no happy ending for cyclist Fatehah Mustapa on Mexican soil this time as she missed out on a place in the keirin final in the first leg of the UCI Track World Cup in Guadalajara.

It was in the same city nine months ago when Fatehah put up a breakthrough performance to claim silver, making her the first Malaysian woman cyclist to stand on the World Cup podium.
