Aidil smashes into Al Ain Masters final


PETALING JAYA: Shuttler Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin stormed into the men's singles final in the Al Ain Masters after an impressive win over India's K. Srikanth.

Aidil fought hard to come out on top 21-4, 11-21, 21-19 over the 2021 World Championships silver medallist in Abu Dhabi on Saturday (Oct 4).

The world No. 40 has made it into his second final of the year after capturing the Sri Lanka International title.

Aidil will be out to win his first World Tour Super 100 title when he takes on Finland's world No. 54 Joakim Oldorff in the final on Sunday (Oct 5).
