Jun Hao, Letshanaa among shuttlers picked for training camp in Denmark

PETALING JAYA: Singles shuttlers Leong Jun Hao and K. Letshanaa will be among those who will get to spar with the Danish national team in a training camp from Aug 18-22 in Copenhagen.

This will be part of the players' preparations for the World Championships in Paris.

Jun Hao and Letshanaa, who have both qualified for the world meet from Aug 25-31, will also be joined in the training camp by Justin Hoh and the rest of the national singles squad.

Singles coaching director Kenneth Jonassen believes the camp will benefit both parties.

“This training camp is a win-win situation.

"It offers our players a fresh and highly competitive environment that can help them raise their level and sharpen their game,” he said on Tuesday (July 29).
