Aidil, Letshanaa emerge as men and women singles' runners-up in Indonesia

PETALING JAYA: Shuttlers Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin and K. Letshanaa emerged as the runners-up in the men and women's singles events in the Indonesian Masters in Surabaya.

Aidil went down tamely 10-21, 9-21 to second seed Alwi Farhan of Indonesia. It was a sweet revenge for Alwi who had lost to Aidil in the first round of last year's edition.

Letshanaa, who is playing in her first Super 100 final, gave a good fight before bowing out 19-21, 17-21 to Ni Kadek Dhinda of Indonesia in the final that lasted for 51 minutes.

Men's singles: Alwi Farhan (Ina) bt Aidil Sholeh Ali Sadikin (Mas) 21-10, 21-9.

Women's singles: Ni Kadek Dhinda (Ina) bt K. Letshanaa (Mas) 21-19, 21-17.

Women's doubles: Hsieh Pei-shan-Hung En-tzu (Tpe) bt Lanny Tria-Siti Fadia (Ina) 21-19, 21-15.

Mixed doubles: Amri Syahnawi-Nita Violina (Ina) bt Marwan Faza-Aisyah Salsabila (Ina) 22-20, 21-13
