PETALING JAYA: Independent shuttlers Ong Yew Sin-Teo Ee Yi dumped Olympic Games champions Lee Yang-Wang Chi-lin of Taiwan to reach the men's doubles semi-finals in the World Championships.

The Malaysians defeated Lee-Yang-Chi-lin 12-21, 21-17, 21-15 in a 65-minute quarter-final battle in Huelva, Spain.
