PETALING JAYA: Malaysian badminton reached another historical landmark on Monday after Goh Jin Wei won the girls' singles title at the World Junior Championships in Lima, Peru.

The 15-year-old Jin Wei defeated compatriot Lee Ying Ying 21-15, 21-16 in just 35 minutes in the final to become the first ever world girls' champion.
