I READ with deep interest the recent words of our Chief Justice, that it is the judges’ legacies that make a judiciary. I could not agree more with Tun Wan Ahmad Farid Wan Salleh’s profound observation: “A judiciary is not built merely of marble and mahogany but upon the legacies of our judicial predecessors.”
This is a truth that every Malaysian should cherish.
