Malaysia’s schools are among the few institutions where children from different ethnic, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds regularly learn side by side. This shared experience helps cultivate mutual understanding and a sense of common national identity, values that are essential for long-term social cohesion in a country as pluralistic as Malaysia.
