IT frustrates me to see Malaysia’s disappointing Pisa 2025 results. Quality education can transform lives, open doors to a better future and strengthen social well-being. Education is not merely about examination results; it is about equipping every child with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to fulfil their potential.
The Programme for Inter-national Student Assessment (Pisa), conducted by the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development), is more than an international ranking. It serves as a yardstick for assessing whether 15-year-old students can apply their knowledge in reading, mathematics, and science to real-world problems.
