THE government has taken an important step towards strengthening workplace safety through the introduction of the Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C) requirement under Section 29A of the Occupational Safety and Health (Amendment) Act 2022.
The objective is to improve occupational safety and health management, particularly in workplaces that are not required to employ a full-time safety and health officer.
