The lifelong consequences of ‘sharenting’

I READ with great interest the letter by Dr Rozita Wahab and Dr Norsafatuk Aznin A. Razak titled “The photos are yours – the childhood is theirs” regarding “sharenting” (The Star, Sept 19; online at bit.ly/4yEWv5U).

While the authors rightly highlighted the immediate risks of sharing children’s lives online, I believe the most devastating consequence is a delayed time bomb that detonates when the child reaches adulthood.
