Working at older ages gives purpose in life

IN the United Kingdom, the retirement age used to be 60 for women and 65 for men. As of now, it is 66 for everyone, but it will increase in stages up to 67 for people born after April 1960.

In Denmark, the government has just passed the official retirement age to 70, which will take effect in 2040 for people born in 1971 or later.
