Retaining the retirement age at 60 a good decision

REFERRING to the report, “Keep retirement age at 60” (The Star, July 14), I agree with the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) on maintaining the retirement age at 60 for the private sector.

This follows Government spokesman Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil’s earlier announcement that the Cabinet had decided there was no need to raise the retirement age for civil servants at this time.
