WE refer to the report “ECRL ready, but walkway missing” (The Star, Oct 23), and the response from Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL), “Temporary walkway will be up by the time ECRL trains run, says MRL” (Oct 24).

Transit Malaysia is disappointed to hear that the pedestrian connection, featured in renderings of the Gombak station, will not be open in time for the line’s opening currently targeted for Dec 12.
