Reform bail system for repeat offenders

I AM writing to express my deep concern and utter disappointment over the current legal provisions in Malaysia that allow repeat offenders, many with serious criminal backgrounds, to be granted bail and released back into society pending trial.

This issue has shaken my confidence in our criminal justice system, especially after two deeply disturbing incidents, one of which affected me personally.
