KLIA signage confusing, needs a relook

I VISIT Malaysia every year as my daughter and her family have been living here for the last 15+ years. At nearly every arrival at the KL International Airport, I get confused by the signage for exiting the airport. I thought it was my age but some young Japanese visitors also got lost this time!

We had to ask for directions from an airport official and subsequently retrace our steps. We had actually been following the signs, so I believe someone needs to reexamine their positions and the information they display.
