Why no lessons in first week of school?


AS a parent, I am still perplexed why the Education Ministry (MOE) directed schools not to have any form of lessons during the first week of the new academic year 2023/2024.

This was announced by the MOE’s director-general on March 15, just a few days before school started on March 19.
