Measles threat must be dealt with swiftly

AN emergent measles threat is looming large in South-East Asia, with two Asean countries, the Philippines and Indonesia, ranked in the top 10 countries with the highest number of confirmed measles cases for the period between July 2017 and June 2018. The Philippines recorded 8,992 cases, Indonesia, 4,897 cases.

Measles is a disease that can kill.
