Crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices climbed on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for June delivery increased by 2.65 U.S. dollars, or 2.78 percent, to settle at 98.07 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery gained 2.92 dollars, or 2.88 percent, to settle at 104.21 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
