Police are aware of the incident and have begun investigating the incident that happened at a restaurant in Jalan Memanda 7/1, Ampang, on Saturday (Aug 15).
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Khairul Anuar Khalid said the incident occurred at about 11pm.
“As a result of the brawl, a man suffered minor injuries to his body, while property at the premises was also damaged.
“Police also detected a video of the incident which went viral on social media,” he said in a statement Sunday (Aug 16).
Earlier, a social media post went viral showing a brawl involving a group of individuals at a restaurant in Ampang.
ACP Khairul Anuar said the case was being investigated under Sections 148, 323 and 427 of the Penal Code.
He said investigations were ongoing to identify the cause of the incident and those involved in the brawl.
