RED lights are meant to stop traffic, not start a social media highlight reel. A wheelie may earn attention online but it can also land a rider in serious trouble offline.
So is it true that police arrested a teenager after he uploaded a video of himself performing a dangerous stunt and running a red light?
Verdict:

TRUE
A 19-year-old motorcyclist who uploaded a video of himself performing a wheelie and running a red light on social media has been arrested by police.
The teen suspect was detained by a team from the Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department Intelligence and Operations Unit at Jalan Raja Laut at about 1.30am on Friday, May 16.
Its chief Asst Comm Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said police detected a viral video uploaded the previous day on the suspect's Instagram account under the profile name "lepdjeck".
He said the video clearly showed the suspect riding dangerously and running a red light on Jalan Raja Laut.
"Investigations found that the suspect is a 19-year-old local man riding a black motorcycle," he said.
ACP Mohd Zamzuri said the incident took place between 2am and 3am on April 25.
He said the suspect had been remanded for one day under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
