AN ORANGE cat that won hearts online for "stealing" its neighbours' slippers in Shah Alam is said to have vanished.
Its owner has taken to social media asking for help to find the feline.
Has Shah Alam's famous orange slipper thief gone missing?
Verdict:

TRUE
Yeyen Selipar, the ginger cat famous for carrying home slippers from around his neighbourhood in Section 29, Shah Alam, has not returned home for several days, said his owner Noraini Dares.
Based on CCTV footage, Yeyen was last seen around the family's neighbourhood, she said in a social media post.
"I am asking everyone who knows us to please help find my Yeyen. It has been several days since he came home.
"My family and I appeal to anyone who has seen, found or taken Yeyen to please contact us," said Noraini.
Yeyen's habit of bringing home his neighbours' footwear had earlier made him the talk of the housing estate and online.
Noraini previously told Sinar Harian that the cat, a Persian and kampung cat mix she has kept for five years, started out by bringing home dry leaves, cigarette boxes and even lizards.
Slippers soon became his favourite haul, with piles of them turning up in front of the family's gate until neighbours checked their CCTV and identified the culprit.
Instead of an angry mob, the neighbours took it in good humour, and her husband jokingly told them they could collect any missing slippers from the front of the house.
Now, for once, it is the slipper thief himself that the whole neighbourhood is hoping to find.
