SKILLED workers are the backbone of a productive and competitive economy. Their specialised training, practical expertise and commitment to quality help drive innovation, improve service standards, and support sustainable national development.
Recently, an advertisement was seen on social media promoting a "Malaysia skills diploma interview" supposedly a programme under the human resource ministry.
Is the claim legitimate?
Verdict:

FALSE
In a social media post, the Human Resources Ministry stated that the advertisement was fake.
"We would like to affirm that the 'Malaysia skills diploma interview – limited quota' advertisement is fake and was not issued by the ministry, its skills development department or any agency under it," read the post.
The ministry also urged the public to be cautious and sceptical of such advertisements and advised people not to share them with others.
