VIDEOS circulating on social media appear to show a man breaking into a home in Bukit Antarabangsa, making off with a bag full of valuables before calmly walking away.
The footage, which was captured by the home's own CCTV system, has prompted widespread concern among residents in the area.
But did a burglar really break into a Bukit Antarabangsa home and steal RM25,000 worth of valuables on camera?

A robber was caught on CCTV breaking into a home in Taman Wangsa Ukay, Bukit Antarabangsa on Aug 21, making off with valuables worth approximately RM25,000.
Ampang Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid said the victim's CCTV footage showed an unknown man getting out of a vehicle before breaking into the home.
The suspect was seen prying open a gate before entering the premises.
He then fled with various wristwatches, jewellery, a laptop and credit cards, with the estimated loss totalling approximately RM25,000.
Several videos of the incident were subsequently uploaded on social media, showing the suspect entering and leaving the property with a full bag of items.
Police are investigating the case under Section 457 of the Penal Code, which covers housebreaking.
