When nature calls, you have to answer. When you have to go, you go - even if you are in a foreign country and you don't really know where you are going.
Did a Bangladeshi man enter a women's restroom at a bus terminal in Kulai as claimed in a recent viral video?
VERDICT:
TRUE
Kulai OCPD Asst Comm Tan Seng Lee said the incident occurred at 1.10pm on Tuesday (Dec 9), when the 35-year-old man had just alighted from a bus that arrived at the Kulai bus terminal from Kuala Lumpur.
“The man was carrying a bag filled with clothes, which he placed on a waiting bench before entering the restroom.
“Following the incident, he was detained for questioning and documentation. Investigations found that he had mistakenly entered the restroom, which at the time had no female users,” he said in a statement on Wednesday (Dec 10).
ACP Tan added that checks on his mobile phone did not find any pornographic material or inappropriate recordings from inside the toilet.
"He also had a bus ticket as proof that he had travelled from Kuala Lumpur by bus.
"The man was released after the documentation process and police report were completed," he said.
Earlier, a 35-second video went viral on social media showing the Bangladeshi man looking confused when questioned by members of the public about entering the women’s restroom, before he was detained by police.
