A heartwarming scene unfolded at Zoo Negara's Multi-Animal Show on Sunday (July 27).

Fuji Chong surprised both his girlfriend and the audience with a cleverly planned proposal involving a parrot as his accomplice. During the show, the parrot swooped in to deliver a small note to Chong's unsuspecting partner, who unrolled it to find the words: "Will you marry me?"

As the realisation dawned, Chong dropped to one knee in front of the stunned crowd, presenting a ring.

The audience erupted with gasps and cheers as his girlfriend tearfully accepted the proposal, creating an unforgettable moment.

The joyous event, shared by Zoo Negara on TikTok, quickly captured the hearts of many, garnering over 1.3 million views and almost 200,000 likes.

"Zoo Negara would like to congratulate Mr Fuji Chong and his lovely partner! It was truly heart-filling to be part of their magical proposal today during our Multi-Animal Show. What an honour to witness such love!", said Zoo Negara in their post on TikTok.

They wished the couple a lifetime of happiness and love, thanking them for choosing the zoo and its animals to be part of their love story.
