TNB has denied claims circulating on social media that it will release water from the Pergau Dam in Kelantan.

In a statement, TNB clarified that the water level at the dam is currently normal and under control.

"The management of the station has also informed relevant government agencies and the Jeli District Disaster Committee about the current status of the dam," TNB added.

The public is advised not to spread false information that could cause unnecessary concern within the community.

Previously, several social media posts suggested that water from the Pergau Dam would be released.

TNB also mentioned that anyone with inquiries or seeking further information can contact TNB through a private message on Facebook at TNB CareLine or a direct message on X @Tenaga_Nasional.
