A VIDEO of a dead body being found in a car has gone viral. The video claimed that the gruesome discovery was made at a car park in Kota Damansara. Is this true?

According to Petaling Jaya deputy OCPD Supt M. Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly, the body was found at 12.04pm on Sunday (Dec 24) at a car park in Kota Damansara.

"We believe the victim has been dead for more than five days.

"We are classifying the case as sudden death," he said in a statement on Monday (Dec 25).

He urged those with information or who were at the scene to contact Kota Damansara police station chief Asst Supt Mohd Nasir Mustapha at 011-32052062 or any nearest police station.
