A one-minute video of white three-tonne trucks with UN markings has gone viral on social media along with a claim that the UN is assisting Malaysia's flood relief efforts. Is this true?
VERDICT:

FALSE
In a statement, Chief of Defence Force Jen Tan Sri Affendi Buang said that the video of several white three-tonne trucks with the UN logo were not linked to flood relief operations.
"The video is about the Final Acceptance Test process implemented by the Armed Forces before the vehicles were sent to Lebanon for use by the MALBATT 850 contingent undertaking a peacekeeping mission under the United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon (UNIFIL)," he said.
Jen Affendi advised people not to jump to conclusions or share unverified news, which can spark speculation and panic.
He said anyone who spreads fake news could be charged under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
