A VIDEO of a man rolling around on a road in Kuching has since gone viral on social media.
Many who watched the clip were quick to speculate that he was under the influence of drugs.
So, was the man filmed rolling on a Kuching road high on drugs?
Verdict:

FALSE
No, police said the man tested negative for drugs, and his behaviour in the video is believed to be linked to a road accident he was involved in.
Padawan OCPD Supt Barry William said police carried out checks on the man, a local, on Nov 2 after the video went viral.
Preliminary investigations found that the incident is believed to be linked to a road accident that happened at about 9am on Oct 31 at the Kedai 688 junction, Jalan Batu 4½, Kuching.
The man, who was riding a motorcycle, is believed to have crashed into the rear of a car.
Following the accident, he reportedly experienced pain all over his body, which is believed to be linked to his actions as seen in the viral video.
At about 1.30pm on Nov 2, a team from the Padawan district Narcotics Crime Investigation Department carried out an inspection at a house in Batu Kitang, Kuching, to obtain further information on the incident.
No prohibited items were found on the man or in his home, said Supt Barry.
A preliminary urine screening test also came back negative for drugs, while an Initial Visual Drug Detection (IVDD) test was likewise reported to be negative.
Preliminary investigations found that the man works as a food delivery rider, and checks showed he has no past criminal record.
The police advised the public not to speculate or spread unverified information about the incident.
The public is also encouraged to get information from official sources to avoid misunderstandings and the spread of inaccurate information.
Supt Barry also urged the public to continue working with the police by channelling any information on crime to the Padawan district police headquarters.
