SIX cars were involved in a crash on Penang's second bridge on the morning of Nov 3.
Soon after, claims began circulating on social media that the bridge had been completely closed.
So, did a six-car crash shut down Penang's second bridge?
Verdict:

FALSE
No, the bridge was never fully closed following the crash, according to its operator Jambatan Kedua Sdn Bhd (JKSB).
"At no point was the bridge fully closed during the incident," it said in a statement on Tuesday (Nov 3).
JKSB said the accident occurred at about 7.17am along the eastbound stretch of the Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah Bridge, heading from Batu Maung towards Batu Kawan.
The company dismissed the claims circulating on social media that the bridge had been completely closed following the accident.
All six vehicles involved in the accident had been removed from the scene and incident management operations were completed, said JKSB.
The company urged the public not to spread unverified information that could cause confusion and unnecessary concern among motorists.
It also reminded motorists to obey traffic regulations and avoid slowing down to look at accidents.
This could disrupt traffic flow and increase the risk of further collisions, it said.
