PMO: Viral statement of Muhyiddin meeting EC to hold polls is fake

PETALING JAYA: A viral "statement" claiming that Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin met with the Election Commission (EC) on Wednesday (Aug 11) to discuss the holding of elections is fake.

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) confirmed this in a message to reporters.
