Work completed on tunnel for railway link

WORK on the country’s third longest tunnel at Namor district in Oudomxay province, which is part of the Laos-China Railway Project, has been completed.

The Laos-China Railway Company informed the media that the excavation of the railway tunnel which is over 9km-long was successfully completed on Wednesday amid the nationwide Covid-19 lockdown.
