Myanmar forms national steering unit to support volunteers during outbreak

YANGON: The Myanmar government has formed a national volunteer steering unit to support the welfare of volunteers participating in the fight against Covid-19 (coronavirus) across the country, according to an official of the President's Office on Sunday (April 26).

Chaired by State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, the steering unit comprises of representatives from ministry-level bodies.
