JAKARTA (The Jakarta Post/ANN): The Health Ministry announced 283 new confirmed Covid-19 cases on Wednesday (April 22), bringing the total number of infections nationwide to 7,418.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, the ministry’s disease control and prevention director general, Achmad Yurianto, added that 19 more people had died of the disease, bringing the death toll to 635.
The total number of recovered patients has also increased to 913.
The capital city recorded 119 new confirmed cases, bringing the total tally to 3,383. Meanwhile, East Java reported 35 new cases, Central Java 30, Central Kalimantan 15 and West Nusa Tenggara 15.
